DIY Retrofit Kit
These kits include everything you need to build your own retrofits! Select a projector, a shroud, your halos, and halo types and we’ll prepare it all and send it to you to build your own retrofit headlights!
110mm halos are mounted INSIDE the shroud, and are referred to as “rear” halos or “in-shroud” halos.
80mm halos are mounted on the FRONT of the shroud.
Switchback halos are white until the turn signal is activated, then they blink amber with the turn signal, then “switch back” to white. They can also be wired to be constantly amber, but they lose the switchback function when wired this way.
RGB halos come with a Bluetooth app that lets you control the color and pattern of the halos. They can be literally any color and there are dozens of pre-set patterns that you can choose from within the app.
The 80mm front halos will require some dremeling, and both the 110mm and 80mm halos require gluing to get them to fit perfectly. There is an option for “pre-mounted halos.” If you like, select the pre-mounting option and we will ship the shrouds with the halos already installed.
These kits DO NOT INCLUDE HOUSINGS. You can either retrofit your own housings or buy new housings to retrofit, which is what we recommend.
All DIY kits will ship with all the necessary wiring as well as the 3D printed waterproofing boots and crush valves for the back of the housing.
